Nice to meet you - I’m Jordan Berger, a realism artist based in Vancouver.

I often say I’m self-taught; however, my affinity for painting can be attributed to my grandmother, an artist herself, who inspired my love for all creative endeavours early in my life.As an artist who's work spans portraiture, landscape and still life, it is my goal to elevate the moments, people, and places that shape our daily experience, turning the familiar into something with new meaning on my canvas.For many years, my practice has been rooted in acrylic and graphite mediums; however, a recent shift has led me to oil painting. Drawn to it’s capacity for blending, textural depth, and rich colours, this progression has allowed me to strengthen my skills as a realism painter, reinspiring my creative process.I am continually motivated by those around me, the beauty of the West Coast, and the pure sense of purpose that comes from simply creating.
